Our plan will separate the two attributes of “transportation” and “life” of Yunjing East Road: use the underground space to solve the “transportation attribute”; return the sunlight, air and ground space to the “living attribute”: using the design method of park Organize a slow-flowing "green river" between buildings to truly realize the slow-sharing urban public space sharing.
The specific strategies are:
Digging a two-way, four-lane tunnel inside the original road red line will sink rapid traffic, and remove the impact of buses, taxis, and non-motor vehicles that have been mixed with motor vehicles on rapid traffic, making transit traffic smoother;
The ground part conceives the space between the buildings on both sides of the road as a city park, and sets up two-way bicycle lanes. Roadside parking, bus stations and taxi stops are arranged on both sides of the road for public transportation, Taxis and private cars parked by nearby residents.
These two roads have low speed due to their special use properties, and have a natural guarantee for the safety of the slow-moving system that intersects their plane.
